Product Description
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION INFINITY COPPER MOULD TUBE
1. Product Overview
Infinity Copper Mould Tubes are high-precision components used in continuous casting machines (CCM) for steel production. These mould tubes are designed to ensure uniform solidification of molten steel, resulting in superior billet, bloom, or slab quality with optimal surface finish and dimensional accuracy.
2. Application
- Continuous Casting of:
- Steel Plants & Rolling Mills
- Non-ferrous casting (optional applications)
3. Base Material
- High conductivity Electrolytic Tough Pitch Copper (ETP Copper Cu-ETP, Cu 99.9%)
- Optional:
- Silver Bearing Copper (CuAg 0.08%0.12%)
- Chromium Zirconium Copper (CuCrZr) for higher strength and thermal fatigue resistance
4. Manufacturing Process
- Centrifugal casting / Forged copper tubes
- CNC precision machining (ID & OD)
- Honing and polishing of internal surface
- Multi-layer electroplating (if required)
